The stagnant state
which we all live,
is rampant with decay.
And blossoms bloom!
They contradict;
and nothing's as it seems,
The bubbles burst
and chaos reigns,
though trees still teem with leaves.
Through issues always prominent,
though none yet so romantic,
as once they were
when kings weren't sure
what's love, and just war tactics
And when she emits a sickly laugh
I cannot help a grin;
for what is now, what always was -
A sweeter charlatan.
