Still Flyin'

I'll be introducing you to Thomas Waltz very, very soon. In the meantime, here, have an allegorical poem.

Still attempting desperate flight,
Don't you realize you have died?
What it thought was short repose
was an excuse to decompose.
La! Inconsiderate cosmic circumstance,
a forward motions' poor romance.
Wondrous, turn to mineral muck,
as for your flight - I wish you luck.
